The point that an attitude of a lot of people was criticized by Bush is well taken. Obama's comments were essentially a confession that he is an appeaser — that the shoe fits him. If he were not, then he would merely agree with Mr. Bush that appeasement does not work and that he does not intend to appease. What he did say showed his lack of maturity and demonstrates that he is unable to bring us together.
