How often each day and times of departure ? There is never any mention of the benefit for Manhattanites, i.e., going to the Rockaways for the Beach and to Fort Tilden (for the Arts), etc. It's been my belief that the Ferry is primarily for the benefit of Manhattanites because it takes them too long to get to a beach! You'll see later that schedules for the weekend will occur and more trips per day! They can afford $12 round trip per person in lieu of $4 round trip per person by train/bus. Please, really do a complete economic study and give the true reason for the ferry service.
