Popular Heartburn Drugs Can Raise Risk of Broken Hip, Study Finds

After reading this article in my local newspaper I realized why the fracture of my Odontoid Process is not healing. PRILOSEC.... I have been taking it for years. It's no wonder I have osteopenia. Nothing was ever mentioned before about the risks associated with this common drug. Where has the FDA been? Why did a study in England find this out? I'm angry, and also worried. I'll bet my doctor is not at all concerned and just keeps writing Rxs for anything.
