Cleveland metro area where I live is not very PC. Perhaps it's because I did not patronize retailers who enforced a 'Happy Holidays' speech code. When store clerks said 'Happy Holidays' I shot back with a sincere 'Merry Christmas' and they usually returned in kind, but there were a few who said it without any prompting. In any event, I didn't hesitate to use the 'C' word at every opportunity.

Because my work involves regular contact with educators, I'm well versed in PC dogma, and my colleagues are well aware of my contempt for it. I have the added advantage of being openly gay so, if anyone from the PC crowd challenges me to a groupspeak duel, I have a ready arsenal of grievances to deploy. I assure you - it's an endless source of pleasure watching a PC enforcer trying to reconcile how one of the oppressed could also be so unenlightened.
