Terrorists are firing rockets into Israel wounding and killing civilians. The terrorists are operating within Palestinian civilian areas, using them as shields, against the laws and morality of war. For Israel to defend itself, it can not guarantee the safety of Palestinian civilians who are near the terrorists and who voted terrorists into political power. If the US were in Israel's situation would we hold our fire and let ourselves be attacked? We didn't in Japan, we weren't passive when Cuba got missiles….
