Conspiracy Theories Bloom In Arab and Iranian Press

Stephen Ambrose, the celebrated historian and author of Band of Brothers, whose book was transformed into the HBO miniseries, wrote that of all the cultures American GI's encountered during WWII, the people our boys felt the most affinity for were the Germans. They were looked upon as the most "civilized" as far as how they lived domestically and the creature comforts thay had created for themselves. The culture that was most disliked by our servicemen, was the Arabs. Thieves and backstabbers were how they were viewed and it's not surprising.
