Echoing Lincoln's Fury

Mr. Holzer's article may well have been apprpriate in the 1850s but they are i anomalous today. When Lincoln spoke in his Second Inaugural there were not hundreds of thousands and f thousands of black corporate executives and entrepreneurs n America. There hand't been two black Secretaries of State and numberous membersof Presidential cabinets and Congress. Segregataion was the rule in public schools.

Nr. Holzer, in "typical white" Liberal fashion ( to use Obama's language) wants to fan the fires of a racism that has been dying in America decades. It's a slow and gradual death, but noone can possibly afgue that its' the same now being black in America as it was when Lioncon took office for the second time.

Never mind facts, Mr. Holzer, just keep on pretending that it's just like it was in the "bad old days".

Thinking Americans should reject your analogy out of hand.
