The US $ is the weakest it has been in recent memory. Tragic if you are buying foreign goods, traveling to foreign countries or merely visiting our Canadian friends.
It is scary in this regard: CONFIDENCE. The world no longer views the US $ as the standard currency.... the Euro is now the standard and this ought be a wake up call for us all! When the rest of the world realizes how fragile the US economy is then "look out!"
What with the weak dollar, massive expenditures for a senseless war, a tripling of gas prices, real estate in the dumps and auto sales at an all-time low.... this "perfect storm" of economic collapse is just around the corner.
