Report Details Saddam's Terrorist Ties
in response to reader comment: libs vs. truth

None of this could EVER matter to the left-leaning, anti-American, "no war under any circumstances" mentality. If, hypothetically, there was a video of Bin Laden and S. Hussein hugging eachother and chanting, "Together we will destroy the USA!", it would mean nothing to them. Excuses would flow like rain from libs about how said video wasn't really proof of anything. It's always 2 different wars, 2 unrelated fronts.

Likewise, no outcome in Iraq could possibly ever satisfy them. If Iraq became a peaceful, democratic society tomorrow, it would surely only be by accident and not due to U.S. actions. (And I am the first to admit that this administration has made plenty of huge mistakes w/ the war and nationbuilding...) Why do we keep hearing from libs that "the surge is not working" and any positive FACTS and STATS coming out of Iraq post-surge are unrelated and arbitrary. Right.

It's the "Rolling Stone" magazine mentality. If the idea even remotely approaches conservative thinking, pro-military thinking, a positive thought about the current administration; it's dismissed out of hand, as a matter of course. If the idea even remotely approaches liberal thinking, anti-military/law enforcement, anti-Republican/Bush, anti-God, blame America first; it has great value and will be agreed with.

The left is the ultimate in hypocrisy. They wish for nothing more than the total failure of Iraq's nation building and any plans laid out by the current administration (an administration that I am not a fan of!). As an Independent, it amazes me daily how many unabashed traitors (i.e. American liberals) walk the streets and pontificate loudly, all while HISTORY proves their ideas wrong time and time again. They will continue to cower and whine while others do the hard work to make our history.
