Thank you for writing and publishing this very clear, concise and accurate report on the San Francisco Ballet. I just returned from watching Programs 4 and 5 over the weekend, and I agree wholeheartedly with Pia. Anyone traveling to San Francisco will have a wondrous treat if you take her advice and invest 48 hours in seeing the magic that is ballet at it's best.

I'm amazed at how well Pia has zeroed-in on Helgi's amazing skills. He seems to have turned this wonderful diversity of talent into a 'fruit salad' that is truly delicious. Of course, as Pia describes so eloquently, he's not alone.
