I have heard type 2 diabetes can be reversed not just prevented with calorie restriction and exercise. I am sure someone here can point to the study. Why are doctors so focused on surgery and drugs? having your stomach stapled seems drastic to me. Likewise, a recent diabetes study had to be stopped because of excess deaths. Was it due to a sugar lowering drug?

Until recently, I worked in a high tech r & d company with its more than fair share of highly trained scientists and engineers many with PhD or MS degrees, in Farifield county, CT. Sadly, the burgers, fries, pizzas and colas were popular staples in the cafeteria. What is wrong with this picture?
