Lycée Français Goes 'Vert,' Celebrating Environmental Conservation

Submitted by Truth Seeker, Mar 9, 2008 21:10

It's not easy being green especially when the Board and the head of the school continue to refuse to provide parents with information regarding the current toxicity level of the soil that the school was built. The DEC and the EPA required that the school be built with a testing well within the sub-basement so that additional monitoring could continue to ensure "safe levels" of contamination. Elsa Berry Bankier, Yves Theze and the rest of the board continue to refuse to provide parents with the testing results or to confirm conclusively that they have indeed continued to monitor the soil despite the numerous requests of the parents and their parents organization.
