Thanks for the enlightenment. However, the foreign publishing thing? It happened to me; twice. The first time the issue was resolved amicably, but only after I had found a copy of the book at my local library and contacted the publisher (large print outfit). The second time: not so easy, since tracking the publisher involved on-going internet digging, leading back to a very large British firm who has yet to respond. How much staff was required to do the reprints? as far as my research has turned up, first incident turned out to be a case of one publisher being at odds with another over money; a kind of convoluted "he said, he said; they owed, we collected" situation I still don't understand. In the second circumstance, the title turned up on Amazon UK, two years after the original was published in the US. Go figure.

Anyway, thank you for allowing me to vent.
