"Mr. Obama took his name off of the Michigan ballot"

Thank you. I've read a couple of other articles about this and no one seems to point out that Obama chose to take his name off the ballot in Michigan. It was a smart move, considering the state was always going to go to Clinton, and he wanted to play down the loss.

Michigan and Florida have to count in nomination process, considering how important they are for the Democrats in the general election. The whole nominating process needs an overhaul, and that's what both states were trying to do when they moved their dates forward. It's hardly fair that Iowa and NH always vote first considering they are not very diverse and do not represent the rest of the country. South Carolina moved their date forward and have avoided punishment.

I don't think the voters should be punished or suppressed. A re-vote would be ideal, but if that doesn't happen the delegates have to be seated as they are.
