Sorry, Larry, but this admistration has already decided that the next bubble will be from inflation and deficit spending. As Alan Ableson put it in Barron's last sunday when talking about all the money the government owes, "That's what printing presses are for." The dollar won't strengthen until A) we live within our menas - and, yes, stimulus packages and trillion dollar wars (so says Joseph Stiglitz) do count against that, and B) we actually make goods and services the world wants. We can't just invest our way to prosperity in the stock market. Post-Columbus Spain tried that, and that's why Americans speak english today, not spanish.
