Drift Away From Clinton Frustrates Many Women

Hillary voted along with many others to go into Iraq should certain circumstances be present. At the same time she voiced her concerns about presidential power. Her decision was based on the given facts at the time. But this was not all. When 9/11 arrived Hillary was living in NY and saw the devastation and loss of lives first-hand. I'm sure this weighed on her mind as she pondered over her vote. She has said that based on the facts presented she then made her decision. It had not come easily. Now we have Obama who speaks against the war at an anti-war rally in his home state of Illinois. He is surrounded by people that belive what he believes and feels the same way that he feels. That day everyone is speaking the same language. They clap. There is no hard decision. No repercussions. It's the same view that could have been espoused among a discussion at work or among friends. It's also a view that others had throughout the country. He was not the SOLE person speaking out against the war. He was not in a political capacity. He was not representing constituents. He was not in DC. He was at a rally expressing his opinion among others with the same sentiment. Had he been in the Senate it would have been noteworthy. But he wasn't. I have an opinion too and sometimes it differs from the president or my congressman. Does this mean they should be banned from political office? Is it a death sentence? Nobody is perfect. I do not hold it against Hillary for her vote. I do not hold it against her that she is a woman either. I AM sickened by the TV News and other media coverage of Hillary as it has been overwhelmingly biased against her and sometimes gender biased. I have thought of whom I would I vote for if it were two Afro Americans? or two women? two white men? with the same trappings of Hillary and Obama. I keep coming up with Hillary.
