If you are talking about legality and legitimacy then you need not look further back in history but just a few year in mid- and late '90s when Serbia started an ethnic cleansing campaign. Were it not for the West, Kossovo would have become a new Rwanda. Now I see the same people wanting to rule again their yesterday's victims. I can't help but wonder, are they in the right mind? Do they really believe that Kossovan Albanians are so stupid and accept the rule of Belgrade yet again? I understand that what Serbs want is the land without any non-Serb on it, or with obedient citizens. That is a foregone era. So, with the ethnic cleansing campaign, rounding up of Albanians in trains just like Germans did with Jews 60 years ago, killing them indiscriminately, burning their houses, closing their schools and what not, Serbs lost their legitimacy to rule two milion Kossovans.
