For the past 20 years I have been teaching in Scribner, Nebraska. As children try to find their place in the world, we discovered that our community was named for Charles Scribner by his son-in-law as he was investing in railroads and the expansion West. I have been searching for a way to contact Mr. Scribner and this is the only site I found that even offers a possiblity of discovering an address or e-mail. My students and I look forward to hearing from you and appreciated the information and background found in this article.
