Frankly, the FEC is now in a bureaucratic morass where Democrats are working as hard as anyone to sustain the gridlock. This is what delays a decision on Senator McCain's campaign financing.

Curiously, Chairman Dean of the DNC seems more committed in a bureaucratic maneuver to limit the amount of funds Republicans can use than he is to a free and open Presidential campaign.
