Several comments in your Friday, February 22 editorial have validity, but it did not address the threat to European nations, overflowing with fast growing Muslim immigrant families, of the establishment of Kosovo as a Muslim nation in their midst. Great Britain today has been designated "Londonistan" and suffers sharia law against western moral values being practiced by its Muslim population.

Albanian communist Muslims were not the only victims of crimes against them by the Christian Serbians who, for years, had been victims of murderous crimes against them in the now truncated country Yugoslavia, a nation which suffered ethnic and religious problems. Its dictator, Tito, was able to hold the nation together without resorting to murderous actions of a Stalin.

Why is America supporting independence of Kosovo Albanian Muslims? Why not for Kurds who were promised independence years ago? Kurds are a people, distinct from Arab Muslims in Iraq, and with their own language and culture. Historically, appeasement of enemies of western democracy has never been successful. U.S. support for an unviable Palestinian state "to live side by side with Israel in peace", in addition to Kingdom of Jordan, a new nation created in 1946 by international law, is an idealistic pipe dream since the stated goal of the Palestinians remains the elimination of Israel in the region. Why don't we in the West believe them, suggesting they don't really mean what they say?

Wake up America! It's time to face reality!
