...because if it were a student it would have resulted in immediate suspension. If this professor claims her innocence, despite the opposite findings of the investigation, she should do something to prove her innocence rather than just saying 'I'm innocent'.

Perhaps plagiarizing was her way of celebrating Martin Luther King Day.
