Coming from a non New Yorker, does the NYT have a full time Ministry of Propaganda that is at least as large as their, ever diminishing in size, writing staff?

I think I would be more inclined to believe a 16 year old online blogger with regards to news that the NYT..

NYT - ever think about putting your paper at the checkout in grocery stores? It seems to fit there perfectly.
