It seems that having your luggage checked is like throwing your luggage on a street or near the garbage can so if anyone wants to take whatever they want they can have it without anyone noticing what they are doing.

In all the articles that i have read i am shocked to find out that jfk airport has the most incidents about stolen items.Does this mean that a person cannot carry anything of great value such as a laptop? and if that person is going on a business trip and has presentations and documents stored on that laptop and it gets stolen then that person is screwd!! Someone wrote something on the article about the stolen jewels at jfk airport.

Its like if you know you're going to travel you have to prepared that something is going to get stolen from your bags(checked or carry) and no one is going to do any thing about it.Stealing should not be an option .There should be surveillance cameras where all the luggage is being handled and screening devices so that each and every worker should pass through it like we passengers do.There should be a special show or a documentry (And 1 ,2 are ot enough)on what happens behind the walls where the labor handles the luggage and how the tsa steals stuff while they're screening passengers.
