For Once, Yankees Fate Lies in Youth

He threw his fastball at 95 miles per hour
with good location to go along with his power.
The hitter swung but badly missed
because he thought it was a curve
until it passed his wrist!

Will the Yankees beat the Red Sox
their rivals of lore?
And what does the new season
have in store?

But as sure as America
is strong and great
and is the home
of the brave and free,
all of us will just have to wait
until the season is over
before we will see.
