I thought Johan Botha did well for a start. Perhaps His tenor will warm up before Act III during the progression of the Othello run. I didn't like the remark about his appearing in blackface. I hope you weren't implying that all South Africans are racist! I love Renee Fleming - I hope her colleagues don't hate her after your "quality gap" remark. (Even though I think you are right)
