Already subject to the Alternative Minimum Tax- now we get insulted by being excluded from any rebate because we worked too hard. We are not rich because we earn over 150,000 a year in NY. Mortgages here and taxes are very high. The Senate had rasied the income cap to 300,000 but the greed in both parties and Democrtas demands to raise the costs to 210 lilled the deal. I am a registered democrat but am going to have a very hard time voting for any party that can not find a way to bring real tax relief to those of us in high income, high tax states. My calls to senate offices went unanswered -I guess they are all out campaigning promising tax relief- they failed to deliver for me on this one- I will remember that on Election Day! My thanks to the NY Sun for always staying on this issue and for looking out for hard working people like my wife and myself who are trying to do right by working hard and raising their families.
