The future of movie watching will be in the comfort of ones home. The quality of HD television sets and the now lower prices of high quality projectors as well as sound systems are by far much better than what you'll find at your local cineplex and you dont have to deal with the person behind you kicking your chair.

I recall going to the movie theater when I was a kid. I think I was in the third grade when Star Wars came out. I was thrilled to be going to the theater. I could see the marquee from down the block. It lit up the sky and I couldnt get there fast enough. I stood in front of the poster as long as possible looking at every detail and then the smell and excitement of the lobby was thrilling. Finding the perfect seat and the excitement when the lights went dim and the curtains opened is a thrill that my children will understand in some other fashion, but I believe the movie experience can still be achieved at home with a little imagination. Movie watching is a timeless experience that can be attained at any level, not just thought of as a luxury commodity.
