Clinton and Cash, II

This piece omits the Senator's comment that it was a good 'investment'. Investment in what? And how does a loan express confidence more than a gift does? What you could read from the investment comment (not my words) is that it is an investment by the Clintons in themselves. What they are seeking to do in fact is to buy an annuity that will in all likelihood pay a minimum of 20 million per year at the end of a four years. The compound earning potential that they buy with the attainment of another stint in the white house. Particularly if they wind up putting on a performance similar to their last ride is phenomenal. Clearly there is no lower that they can sink on the scale of values that this country commonly holds as worthy of each citizens aspiration.

Honesty, integrity, are two that come to mind. On the flip side of course, you have to do the third grade arithmetic and ask the question why is an investment of one thousandth this size (that they are not willing to make out rite) not something that their supposed supporters feel worthy of mustering?

According to my arithmetic, approximately 9.5% (28 out of 300 million) Americans have cast votes so far in the primaries. Out of that, approximately eight million have cast votes for the Clintons. At the rate of ten dollars per supporter, that would total approximately 80 million dollars in contributions that they could have been delivered.

If you are one of the five percent of Americans who appear to already know this, great. Please do yourself and if you have children as i do, please do your children a favor and do what you can to get anyone that you run into who missed it all or is missing it all to wake up. Americans as individuals are smarter than this. Yes you can is an invitation to wake up. It's time for a change is an invitation to stop being led around like
sheep with smoke and mirrors. If the Clintons have something to offer the American people, it will be as the cognitive science case study twenty years from now on how 300 million people were conned by two.

You are the determiner of history. You choose.
