Jewish Groups Criticize Church's Preservation of Conversionary Prayer

Submitted by JS, Feb 6, 2008 11:02

For a Catholic not to pray for the conversion of non-Catholics to the Church is the most uncharitable thing they can do. Holy Church teaches that there is no salvation apart from Christ. We absolutely believe this. To not pray for the conversion of the Jews and other non-Catholics means that we want them to burn forever in Hell, seperated from God, suffering in agony that has no end. For a Catholic to not pray for the conversion of a non-Catholic is to damn them. So, before you go off on the Catholics and the Holy Father think about this: would you rather we prayed for the damnation of the Jews?
