Rawls's whole approach is a muddle. He rigs every detail to reach his prejudged conclusions, expects us not to notice this, and then claims that this is how things would come about if a properly organized group were selected to decide the issues (as though that were a valid way to determine them). But he wanders around chasing his tail through the fog-enshrouded swamp of his thinking, then asserts he's got a firm clear foundation. Harrrumph!
