Students Stage Walkout At Bronx Science
in response to reader comment: Beer, Bombast and the Winter of our Discontent

For you to honestly say this about the students at bronx science in incredible. We are all bright articulate individuals who deserve a voice in the way we are taught. Just because you might disagree with us or feel that students are below you gives you no right what so ever to say this about us. Ms. Kellert wasnt my teacher Dr.Drake never said anything to me. I was still at the walkout. I made a concious decision to walkout and protest the policies placed upon myself and my fellow students that have in effect stifled the learning environment that we have come to love. So to say that we are just being used and are there to use is a statement only someone ignorant could make. Let us have a say in how we are taught unless that what your afraid of. Gotta love that Tenure Mr. Schorr. And finally i think it was a chinese proverb that i once read that said "Laws/Rules control the lesser man. Right conduct controls the greater one."
