"The conservative "solution" to illegal immigration is to build a wall along the Mexican border, deport undocumented workers when they are arrested for some other violation, and conduct routine sweeps of workplaces that might illegally employ immigrants." And the problem is??? Noting in that statement is wrong, immoral, or illegal. In fact, the later 2 parts are already US law. So why are you condemning conservatives for simply demanding that our own government enforce its own laws? You're not going to trot out that garbage about barriers not working, are you? The Israeli wall seems to have worked just fine. There are no more buses exploding with innocent people on board. The real truth here is that these people opposing the fence are dedicated to open borders, either because they want ultra-cheap labor, or in the case of liberals, they see more votes for the Democratic Party.
