those who forget their history will still be ok...what might have been wasn't. What is now, is. We judge by what now happens with religions, political positions etc. Thus, A merica had slavery at one time but no longer does and do we focus upon what is or what was? america limited the vote and denied it to women. And on and on...Had Napolean...had Hitler ...had Japan decided instead... NO: what did take place then did take place. And what takes place now is central: Japan, Italy, Germany were are enemies during WWII. Today, we look back and note that China and Russia were our allies during that period.
