Compare the number of people that you personally know who smoke pot to the number that only refuse to because it is illegal. Don't forget to adjust for dishonesty about the subject!

If people want to do it, casually or habitually, it can be done, and I just don't believe that your problem with pot is that 'more people will do it'. The problem is how they get their pot. Especially how our kids get it.

Your 'good reasons' to disregard our good reasons are not good enough to continue to allow control of this substance to remain in the black market. For all of our children, legalize and regulate marijuana with strong restrictions, and we can achieve better results that include the reduction of street crime, for one. That's such a good reason I can't believe you need others.
