Maureen Mullarky"s review of the work of Mac Premo and Robert Warner is an all too rare example of art cricism that is intelligible as wall as intelligent. She has the capacity to describe the work without simply telling you what you are looking at, and the courage to give a personal reaction which encourages but does not demand that you join her, however I was quite willing to do so with these two artists. I am especially interested in how she distinguishes their work from folk art.
