Good editorial. The NY Times is a highly partisan paper that keeps losing readership. Giuliani was such a good Mayor that a huge percent of self identified liberals voted for him.

The Times gives Bush or any Republican no credit for anything whatsover unless they act like a liberal.

Their mood should be dark as they are losing readership right and left, and Murdoch might put them under.

They reveal national secrets, misstate facts (the latest that I saw was that the Israelis cut off power in Gaza).

They have not endorsed a Republican in something like 70 years and gave the greatest President of at least the last fifty years, Ronald Reagan, no credit for anything.

They have a twisted interpretation of 9/11, implying that much of the reasons lay with our policies. They don't grasp that Bin Laden's goal was to draw us into a massive civil war within Islam.
