Vietnamese Living Illegally in U.S. Face Deportation

Submitted by Quang Nguyen, Jan 23, 2008 16:29

This is the sadess news that I've ever come across. Not because I alone am in this situation, but millions of others will have their families, love, relationship, business ownership, employment, etc... broken thru this decision. I myself have had a strike on my record. The mistake was over 15 years old. I have been married and working as a program manager for a successful electronic company. The government never denies my tax money and my contribution to the electronics industry. Now the government is denying my presence in America. This is really heartless. I have no connections nor known any one in Viet Nam for I've grown up here in America. There must be a sort of evaluation for each individual basing on his/her employment history before the deportation takes place. I do believe we all deserve a second chance. If mankind keeps playing God, this world will never have a peaceful day.
