I would take issue with your statement that the dollar slide has more to do with how well other countries are doing. Of couse they are doing well. Our country has provided tax incentives for our factories to move to other countries. We also passed NAFTA & GATT to assist in the smooth transfer of our manufacturing to these other countryies. I guess I am contending that in doing this, our country has slit it's own throat. Now we have Mr. George W. Bush spending money like it's water & allowing a flow into our contry from our Southern border like gushing water. I am of the belief that George W.'s global views guide his uncontrolled spending & the illegal immigration to tear down our country, allowing his global friends to have their economic way with our country. Our country has already be economically gutted, now these people appear to want to want us (US citizens) to begin working for them. Lessening the taxes on our corporations would be a good start, but I suspect the lessening of these taxes would just be used as another way for these elites to make more money at the expense of the US citizens.
