My name is David Grant. I to have a felony conviction. I've been out of jail for 12 years. I payed my restitution and recieved a clemency from the government.with all of that i still do not get hired. The worst part is i have a bachelors in business management and i will have another bachelor's in music business in two years. I still cannot get a good job. If it wasn't for becoming a christian, being married with 3 kids i would lose it. I've been turned down from american express, the marines, the army, the coast guard,UPS, the navy, homedepot, lowes, the navy the fire department and many other basic jobs not worth mentioning. The thing i don't understand is how do you move on with life if you can't even get a descent job without working for yourself. enough is enough. I'm human too. With all the accomplishments behnd me it means nothing to the working world. I've had people say to me " work for your self" but how can you if you don't have start up capitol. even if i were to get a pardon by law you still have to acknowledge the fact that you have been convicted. Where's the break? I can't even get expunged because by law you can't be found guilty. There's no break and it hurts extremely. what do i do now with all this education, become the greatest laborer on the planet............NOT
