Western democracy, as we know it in the western world, willl never be achieved in the Arab world by force of arms, no matter how noble the attempt is envisioned by the west. True democracy will have to be achieved be a grass roots movement of the Arab people, without interference by the western powers.

I would love to see my people achieve true freedom and equality, but not forced to this end by any foreign power(s). Any attempt to colonialize the Arab world by occupation etc., will fail, as history has shown us. "Those who ignore history are doomed to repeat it."
