That will never happen. The GOP rank and file are not about to turn the keys over to someone who has been married three times, ran NYC, supports abortion on demand and favors gun control.

Giuliani's status as front-runner was always anemic, never getting out of the 1/3 range and was always against a field of unknowns.

Now that voters are focussing on the election, learning the candidates' positions on the issues and trying to imagine who can clean up Bush's mess, Giuliani will be waived back to the rubber chicken circuit.
