Carmen Alavarez, all the way!

This woman has single handedly stood up for the rights of both students and teachers in our system, and is graced with both courage and intelligence that, together, successfully combat all of the evils that plague our school system. Frankly, I have never seen such a modern day hero as this woman is, and her tenacity and dedication has been somewhat in the background, as she has not dominated headlines with all of her good work.

Any parent, teacher, student, administrator, or taxpayer who wants to see the truest and most genuine leader rise to the top of the helm, then it is in everyone's best interest to nominate Ms. Alvarez to succeed Ms. Weingarten.

Ms. Weingarten will be sorely missed for her mission of representing and serving those who elected her, as she has done a terrific job. On behalf of many people who know of the inexhaustible efforts and accomplishments of Carmen Alvarez, I say that Randi's mission will be properly preserved and continued under the leadership of Ms. Alvarez, a modern day "Wonder Woman" who fights for what is true, correct and right.
