Black Voters Say They Feel Disenfranchised by Democrats

Submitted by Jim Orso, Jan 16, 2008 12:06

At 53, I have been a life-time democratic voter here in St. Louis, Mo. But knowing that the DNC has effectively disenfranchised voters who had nothing to do with DNC's petty issues is giving me pause this year and the GOP is looking better. I can't believe I am saying this, but I never thought the DNC was run by reactionary bureaucrats like some corporation who uses third-world labor. I am really beside myself about this, and I know many other are too. The Democrat party was the last entity we ever thought would soil voters (and particularly in a state like Michigan!) How naive we were! I now am watching McCaine and Huckaboo. Cynics are correct, the big political parties no longer represent the people, but just themselves. We need a new paradigm.
