NO, NO, NO. Even if this works out well, there are two other factors to consider. One is that there are those who will die, suffer, etc., because this procedure came too late for them to benefit from any research that may come as a result. Second, are politicians who are fanatic in attempting to foster their religious believes on the general public, e.g. Bush and Islamic terrorists - in this area I see no difference, going to continue to do so in the future? I hope that this successful scientific result will not encourage future fanatics in politics.
