FairTax's Plausible Solution
in response to reader comment: FairTax is a fraud.

Submitted by Tom Kropewnicki, Jan 10, 2008 11:41

The FairTaxFraud Institute is putting out derogatory information about the FairTax to protect their vested interests in the current tax system. And why not? They've gamed the system for their lively hood for years. I'm sure buggy whip makers were up in arms about the automobile..

The fact of the matter is that the only thing that will keep the FairTax from becoming law is the people themselves. Their ignorance about the FairTax and their apathy in general are the roadblocks. It's not congress or the President. No one in congress or the President gets into their office without our votes. When we raise our voices loud enough they have to listen. When their jobs are threathened they must react. The FairTax, "AS WRITTEN", cannot be debunked. Shallow attacks can and are made, but they do not have the research behind them that the FairTax does. They only serve to confuse the casual reader.

Speak to a person on the street who has never heard of the FairTax. See if you get someone to then defend our current system. Lot's of luck! The only semi-negative comment I receive is, " It will never pass." My reply is simple, " Do you want it Passed ?" I personally do not care what Party or candidate gets the FairTax to become law, and I sure as heck will not vote for anyone who does not support it. I know for certain, I am not alone.
