I'm deeply disturbed by the tenor of Mr. McWhorter's "Obama Column".

M.r. McWhorter adks, cryyptically, why would one NOT vote for Obama?

For starters, he has a 97+% positive rating by the Americans for Democratic Action (versus H. Clinton's 95+%.)That's enough right there to ensure an anti-Obama vote by former Democrats like myself.(If I had ten votes, I would cast them all against Obama).

I'm shocked by the racial oientation of Mr.McWhorter's column. He infers that Barak is first of all BLACK! This type of thinking could set back Dr. King's accomplisjment by decades!

Don't tell me,, Mr. McWhorter, what as a Caucasian, I, therefore, believe!

I will cast my vote I hope for Rudy Giuliani. If I haven't that option, then I will vote for Mitt Romney, Fred Thompson or John McCain. And I don't care a fig what their skin color is - or yours either, Mr. McWhorter!
