The Bush plan is attacked as mostly temporary. It is ibtentionally temporary. The fundamentals of the economy and business health are sound, With short-term stimulus there would be in all likelihood a short term boost which historically helps the sentiment that strengthens the backbone of our economic structure, which will take over from there.

George W. Bush off ofthe campaign trail? With all due respect to religous sensitiviteis, I have to c ompare Ms. Shlaes' call to the cries of "Barrabas" in response to Pontious Pilate's historic question.
