I believe that we have added the Iranian Revolutionary Guards to our Terrorist List. Therefore I am somewhat surprised that the U.S. Naval commanders on the ships in question did not blow these boats out of the water knowing what boats of this type did to the U.S. Cole.

I think the Navy Admirals need to rethink their rules of engagement for the commanders of our fleet as hestitation leads to ships being blown up. The on deck guns could have handled these boats with ease. Give the Iranians an inch and they will wind up demanding a mile. This was a further loss of face for the U.S. in hostile waters and all Arabs believe in keeping up a terrific face.
