The Season Is Back In Session on Courts

This week, Venus Williams said "Cocaine would not help in tennis, maybe in track, but the game of tennis is mental, it wouldn't keep the ball in court, I give her (Hingis) the benefit of the doubt. So do I. It would be absurd for a world champion in the business for 15 years, to decide to cheat with a drug that would not help someone who relies on their intelligence to take cocain, while at WIMBLEDON, knowing fully well there will be RANDOM TESTING. The hair sample said negative. Nonetheless, even if there was a trace of cocaine in the system, (the amount apparently in the sample was minute), it could be placed in the system easily without one's consent. Tommy Haas stated two months ago, that he was poisoned in a meal he was served, right before playing for Germany, while in Moscow. I believe him. As a cook in the food service industry, If I stated what was placed in food by disgruntled waiters and chefs (who by the way, are often cokeheads), you would never eat out again. Who's to say that didn't happen the day she was about to play. This, for some reason, is never discussed. I think it's because we don't want to believe that people are so cruel. From my work enviroment, I know it to be true. Why? Jealousy, the feeling that the customer has been rude, sometimes just for kicks. If the the drug was finasteride, or some other drug, which would be hard to get a hold of, and that would actually help your game, well then I'd wonder. Martina Hingis was a lot of things (arrogant?), but no one could ever say she was stupid. She said "I would terrified of taking drugs". I believe her, she apparently had an extraordinary amount of physical discipline, as Maria Sharapova said, she was surprised and remarked how dedicated she was in the gym. It doesn't add up. So much doping is going on, that it's starting to look like a witch hunt. Most are guilty, I'm sure, but this one is the witch hunt.
