that was what we called the area closest to West End Ave. We moved into the Projects in April '47. I was 6 years old. I remember it all as if it were yesterday. I organized the first reunion but for the life of me I can't recall the date. I think it was the mid 70's. We have lost too many of our friends over the years and I missed them all. Hope to make it "home" this summer and renew what old acquaintances are left. I know there are a few.
